France - August 2010

On the left, Catillon sur Sambre. We stayed overnight on the free Aire, just big enough for four friendly MHs.

Right, the lake near St. Dizier and another overnight free Aire

aire
Left and below,

St. Pourcin sur Sioule

has one of the very best Aires in France and it
was the day of the Fiesta. Another great day.
So far we have been 5 nights in
France and have spent €2 on
accommodation but more on
food and wine of course!

We met up with our friends Richard and Senga near Mont Dore and spent a day exploring the town and surrounding scenery.
On the right is the sausage shop. There was quite an aroma!!

A wonderful meal out with friends at the Hotel de la Terrasse in Vieillevie

The Church and the Mairie in the same village

We did eat 'in' one evening.  It wasn't until I downloaded the pic on the left that I realised that the deck was quite so 'elevated' !!

Fontainbleu:  The garden borders are stunning and the fountain dates from 1750
We stayed on a campsite nearby.        There was a wedding.
the helicopter dropped the confetti - that's style -  and very messy!
