St Flour is divided into high town and low town and would seem to take 'class' to new heights.    Our overnight stop was on the low 'aire'.

Entraygues sur Truyere street    Another town, another bridge    Dragon scale tiles

Entraygues sur Truyere is a delightful little town and not yet overrun with tourists. In fact, most of the visitors here seem to be French. Most of the food is accompanied with a serving of 'aligot', a mixture of potato, cheese and garlic. Next along this back road is Estaing. It is the family seat of Valery Giscard d'Estaing, the president of France from 1974-1981

Going south passing through Espalion. Nice parking place by the river. The town has a diving museum. The diving helmet was invented here, yup, right in the middle of France.

Le Mont St Michel.     3rd time of trying.     Our first attempt (last year), it was very cold and raining, so we only took one pic and retreated to the camper.

Second, high tide covering the car park!

Third, 29 degrees and only about 9000 other tourists. Has to be done though.

    and we stayed overnight too
